Kindergarten Graduation and Random Bits

Oh boy have we had a busy few weeks! Alexis is wrapping up her school year with lots of fun stuff at school. Today will be her last day. She is officially a kindergarten graduate! They had an adorable performance at the school. Here's a photo of the whole class. She is the one on the bottom row, second from the left. With the Dora hair cut.

We had a celebration here at the house where she got *gasp* her first Hannah Montana shirt, movie, hat, and purse. My baby is growing up. No more Sprout channel for her. She's hit the big time. I guess it was only a matter of time before I let her watch it. The other kids in her class have been talking about Hannah all year and she felt so left out. I finally sat down and watched it and didn't find anything objectionable. It's actually pretty cute. Here she is in full on Hannah garb... she wouldn't even let us take the tags off before trying it on.

In other news, Jordan got her wheelchair in FINALLY. It was such a hassle to get it, but I am SO glad she's got it now. It really makes things easier because when she has to walk long distances she gets tired quickly. Here is a picture of her in it over this past weekend at Lexie's graduation celebration here at the house.

That weekend we also pulled out the baby pool, and here is a picture of Brandon loungeing around like he's the king of the kiddie pool.

And last but not least... I am SO EXCITED to announce that I've been picked for a Design Team. My local scrapbook store had a sign up when I went to shop there the other day so I sent them my gallery and I got it! I also found out I'll be teaching as well. Yikes! Me? A teacher? Well thinking about it... I do love telling people what to do, so maybe it'll work. LOL Stay tuned to my blog for photos of my DT work, but in the meantime you can check out my designer bio, and the store I'm working for at Scrappersaurus.com.

Hugs,
Heather

Third Challenge

Hey everyone! It's been a while, and by now I hope you've had time to finish the second challenge. I thought I'd take a second to show you the book I'm using to do my challenges, and my second challenge completed.

Here's the book...

And here's the circles challenge completed...

Third challenge: Find a photo and alter it by drawing over it. Give yourself a beard, give your significant other horns, draw a crown on your dog... the sky is the limit. You can journal on it too. Once you are done paste it in your book, and link me to it so I can leave you some love!!!

Hugs,
Heather

My first challenge completed...

So since I had problems getting my own book started and covered with paper and DOING the actual challenge I posted, I decided to wait a while before posting it. Hopefully everyone is having fun! LOL I wrote my deepest darkest secret on the back of the red paper, then cut it up into squares and glued it to the paper. I used puffy paint to write in the rest of the word secrets. I distressed the paper with chalk, ink, and paint. Then I found a relevant quote. I'll be posting the next challenge at the end of this blog... so read down to the bottom!

An update on us... Alexis is having a really hard time again. Which makes it extremely difficult to catch up on the blog and everything. She's pinching herself and breaking the skin and creating sores on her arms. Her meds are not working, and she as well as everyone in our house is pretty miserable. Prayers are definitely needed, I am trying not to worry and give the situation to God because. I can't fix it, God can do much better than I can. I refuse to let the worry take over all of our lives.

Ronnie went to Pastries with Parents at school today with the girls. It was fun. Jordan will be moving up to big girl Pre-K next year. Not a special needs class. She'll be going 5 days a week. I'm going to miss my baby. =0( After Ronnie came back we went to lunch at the Olive Garden. I LOVE the Olive Garden.

Brandon and I dropped Ronnie here at home, then we went to get Alexis' new perscription, to the library, and to Lowes to pick up some stuff to create my new flower bed. It's already in the 90's here in La.

Here are some of my more recent scrapbook LO's.

Ok enough babble about me... Here is your next challenge (should you chose to accept it!)

Fill an entire page in your journal with small circles, and then color them in. You choose the colors! Then tell me what the colors you chose mean. Link me to your creations so I can leave you some love.
