Things your children should NOT do at the Dr.'s office...

Jordan had a Dr.'s appointment today, and I came up with a list all on my own of things children should not do in a Dr.'s office.

1. Children should not climb on the examination table and jump up and down.
2. Children should not bang on the window blinds and pull the cords up and down while jumping on above said table.
3. Children should not play with the super cool ear thing that the Dr. left convienently stuck to the wall near above said table.
4. Children should not scream at the top of their voice while their Mother explains how well they've been doing.
5. Children should NOT lick the top of the hazardeous materials trash can.
6. Children should not play with the sharps container also convienently located near above said table.
7. Children should not bang repeatedly on the nice Dr.'s laptop while screaming at the top of their lungs while standing on top of above said table.
8. Children should not steal the nice Dr.'s mouse that is attached to above said laptop while running from end to end of above said table.
9. Children should not hide under above said table when Mommy says "It's time to go."
10. Children should not scream when Mommy drags them out from under above said table, by their feet because it's all she could reach.

I'm just saying... and they wonder why I'm insane? Certifiable. Ugh.

Heather

Pumpkin Patch

This past weekend we took our annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch. Here are some photos of all of the fun!

Jordan was so excited to be offered the opportunity to touch a baby chicken. She's only seen full sized chickens before. I love the look on her face.

The kids had a blast taking photos on this HUGE tractor. Seriously it was taller than Ronnie who is 6' 4". HUGE! Here's Alexis hamming it up.

Here's our whole crew... Minus me and Maw Maw... We were taking the photo. =0)

I totally love this shot of Jordan and Alexis. I just wish Lexie would've smiled. Oh well! It was a miracle we got Jordan up there on the hay bale. A few seconds into it she declared it "Too itchy" and wanted down.

Here's Bubba and Paw Paw after they picked out Bubba's pumpkin. He doesn't look too thrilled with the choice, but I promise he loved it. LOL

Ronnie and Jordan scooping the "guts" out of the pumpkin. Ronnie has never carved a pumpkin before, he still technically hasn't carved one. I got the honors on that, but as you can tell he's a great gut scooper. We may promote him to carver next year. Maybe.

Brandon did not like gut scooping, or pumpkin carving, and so he was excused from the table shortly after threatening to throw his pumpkin off of the table. (Technically he doesn't like much of anything right now due to cutting 4 new teeth!)

Alexis was really serious about getting her pumpkin totally cleaned out.

Ronnie drew the face on Brandon's pumpkin for me to cut, and the girls drew their own. Here are the finished pumpkins... from left to right they are Jordan's, Alexis', and Brandon's. All in all, a good weekend!

Dixie Pieces

I had the honor of being contacted by Krista Ehlers recently, and she asked me to review and design a layout using one of her kits. I couldn't refuse, she's got some really cute stuff for sale at her website Dixie Pieces. I chose her Joy in the Journey kit here... www.dixiepieces.com. And it's currently on sale for those of you that are interested! Also because she's so sweet, Krista has given me a coupon to hand out to my blog readers for for 25% off your first order of digital products at www.dixiepieces.com– Coupon Code is: b97562 So go on over there and check her out! =0)

Here is the layout I made using her kit! It's my godson Ehren, and my husband many years ago. He's 2 in the photo and he's going to be 9 soon. Many years! =0)

I loved the combination of the black and white papers with the bright yellow and blue embellishments. Thank you Krista for asking me to do this! =0)

The amazing disappearing Heather!

Yeah I know, for a while there I was posting every day, and now you haven't heard from me in forever right?! I've got excuses... I always have excuses!

I've been scrapping like crazy! I've finished a mini album, I've almost finished a squash book. I've got a design team layout to finish. I've got two classes to prepare for, and life is insane as always. One of the classes I'm prepping for is the layout of the month at Scrappersaurus for October. We'll be using some super cute Sassafras Lass papers. I'm also prepping a Cricut Design studio class. All fun stuff!

In my down time I've been working on Brandon's baby book, because I figure I ought to finish it sometime before he graduated high school. Here are some of the layouts I've done so far...

As always, if you'd like to view them closer just click on the photo. I'm really excited because we are going to the Pumpkin Patch this weekend, which means you guys will be flooded with cute photos in a few days.

Other than my designing stuff there isn't much going on. Jordan is finally feeling better. I got to do some scrapbook shopping at Scrappersaurus which rocked. I got lots of cute stuff.

I hope everyone is having a beautiful day!
Hugs,
Heather
