A Note About Advertising (Please read!)

I know you’ve all noticed the advertisement posts that pop up occasionally on my blog. I don’t get paid for creating the sketches and templates that I give away here. Many of you know that I used to be a digital designer, but as the kids’ needs increased I had to quit. As a stay at home Mom I can use the extra money that the advertising brings in. It helps fund my scrappy habit, and it’s saved my bacon more than once when money was tight.

I can understand that it’s a bit of a pain sometimes to scroll through the paid posts to get to the content that you want to access, but they help me keep the blog free. I try to make the posts that feature paid content as interesting and relevant as possible. I hope you all can understand my decision. I try not to post the advertisement posts too frequently and you are always more than welcome to scroll through without reading them if they bother you.

If you’re interested in finding out more about advertising on your blog with the company I’m affiliated with, you can click here.

Wood Grain Thank you

i think it's most excellent you have found a way to make it all work....and have purchased at least one of the products you suggested...At some point, maybe I'll jump on the bandwagon, so far I've only managed to get a few offers, but I am sure at some point I will get to write a post they keep! ;-)

Nothing wrong with advertising & making a buck Heather. And your reviews are always honest and therefore, very helpful.

Definitely understand and respect your decision, just as I respect and understand those who don't do sponsored posts.

To see your work is worth reading through the advertising. Good for you! On that note... what are your preferences if we choose to use one of your sketches?? Link here to show you? Link in our blog (which I would do no matter what)... I am really liking your latest sketch!! :-)
