All Of My Freebies Are Found

Hi everyone! After this post goes live, I'll finally be finished moving all of my freebies from around the web to my blog. Today, I have four sketches and three matching free digital templates to share. I'll try to make this a quick post so you can get to downloading goodies. As always, feel free to pin the sketch or save it to your computer for later use. If you want the free layered digital template download, just click on the image or the link. *Please note: One of the sketches doesn't have a matching digital template freebie to download.

3: My Flower Girl SKETCH ONLY

That's all I have for now, but it won't be long before I'm back with more freebies and fun projects.

Hey Girl: Sassy Scrapbook Pages

It's been a while since I've shared any of my scrapbook pages, so I decided to write a quick post today. I used the same collection on both of the layouts because I've been hoarding this Prima Rebellious line for a long time. I added various gems and small goodies from my stash. I also pulled out several stamps and an antique (Ha!) set of Hambly rub-ons to add detail to these projects.

1: Hey Girl- Jordan came to me one day and asked if I would dress her up so we could have a photo shoot. It took me some time to get ready, and by the time I was finished she changed her mind. When I started snapping pictures, she was DONE with the whole idea. She went into full diva mode! She doesn't know it, but I adore this photo. It shows so much of her sassy personality.

2: Just Go Away Mom- I couldn't resist scrapping more of the outtakes from the photo session I described above. As you can see, I got fake smiles and total drama. She's definitely a little diva, but I love her to bits and wouldn't want her to be any other way.

That girl is something else and I am so blessed to be her Momma!

Photo Update: Mardi Gras Mambo

It's Mardi Gras time in Louisiana, but we've only made one parade. Mostly because we've been busy with other, more important things. I'm popping in today to share a super quick picture update, and I have a question for you all to answer at the end of this post. I need to know about freebie formats for die cut files, but we'll get to that later!

Last week we went to a small parade in our favorite town, Abita Springs. I always know that the Push Mow parade will be safe, and family friendly. It's the perfect place to take the kids.

Jordan's doctor decided that she needed casts on her legs after the last round of Botox shots, so we traveled to Slidell to get them done. We tried to distract her with the phone, and when we got home I put all sorts of bling on her casts. She is all about being fabulous all the time.

Brandon turned seven last week and we baked him a cake for a small family celebration. His big party is later this month. He's a crazy 52 inches tall. He's taller than Alexis was when she turned eleven. I'm absolutely positive that he'll be taller than I am by the time he's twelve years old.

It's been a pretty rough week, but I got a super sweet surprise to cheer me up. Ronnie and Brandon went shopping for window blinds at Lowes, but they came back with tulips. Tulips are my favorite flower, and I was thrilled to see a little bit of Spring!

We also worked on renovating Alexis' room over the weekend. We patched holes, added wainscoting, repainted, and moved stuff around. She was very excited about the entire process.

I took several photos while the project was in progress. The color she chose is a pinky purple. I know, that doesn't make much sense. The best way I can explain it is that it depends on the light in her room. Sometimes it's pink and sometimes it looks purple. Perfect for the girl who couldn't decide between pink and purple. Ha!

I also got my long awaited Silhouette Cameo last week and I am already in looooove. I'm planning to take several classes, including a designer class to learn the ins and outs of the software.

In other news, Sophie is still sick. She's been to the vet four times in the last month! She has no tear production in one of her eyes now, and she has to have four different drops twice a day. Have I mentioned that she hates the drops? Yep. I'm having Lady flashbacks.

I'm sure you see what I meant? Busy, busy, busy. Thankfully, the kids are off of homeschool this week for Mardi Gras and I can recuperate a bit. I managed to finish a few layouts to share, and I'm thinking about the direction of my blog. I definitely need to know about file preferences for the die cut freebies I give away here. Do you prefer svg files or studio files?

Hoppy Easter: Clear Scraps Mini Album

My first month back at The Sampler kit club ended up being my last month. Holly has decided to release project based kits from now on. It's okay with me though, because Jordan is in leg casts for three weeks and to say things are crazy around here would be putting it lightly. Anyway, I'd like to share the final (HUGE) project that I made with the February 2014 kit and a Clear Scraps mini-album.

That kit was completely perfect for my Easter pictures! Would you believe that I still have a ton of photos to scrap? I did go back and write the journaling in my album once I finished photographing it. I'm already making big plans for Easter this year. How about you?
