7-D Mine Train: Disney 2014

I'm back today to share a layout that I made with pictures I took on Disney's 7-D Mine Train ride. It was our first time on it and we all gave the experience two big thumbs up. Brandon was really excited to go on a roller coaster for the first time! He alternated between screaming and laughing his head off. It totally cracked us up because he didn't know which reaction to have. I asked him if he would do it again and he wasn't sure, but the photo below totally looks like he would.

I used Crate Paper's Open Road collection to create this page. I thought the trees and flowers worked perfectly with my pictures. The background is Bazzill's kraft cardstock. It's actually my favorite cardstock to use in my designs. I buy it in bulk and keep it in my stash at all times.

Music & Magic: Disney 2014

I got the coolest birthday present from a scrappy friend of mine a few weeks ago. I've wanted to try the Silhouette pens for a while, but I hadn't ordered them yet. Marlene sent me a whole package, and I was super excited use them in my design. The directions were very easy to follow and I love the detail they added to my page.

These photos are some of my favorites from our Disney trip. We were waiting to get in to see the Lion King show, and we passed by these really neat drums. Of course, my kids had to stop to create their own music. My husband and I also participated because everyone is a kid in Disney World!

I used Basic Grey's Second City collection to create this layout. The colors are so vibrant and fun! I doodled the music notes, but the swirled border was created with the Silhouette pens.

Total Characters: Disney 2014

I am still working my way through tons of Disney photos. These pictures are from the first day of our trip when we ate breakfast at Disney's Hollywood and Vine restaurant. The Playhouse Disney characters were there and Jordan was so excited! She really, really wanted to meet Sofia The First. The other two kids were less enthusiastic. Alexis was worried about her food but she tolerated the characters. Brandon just wanted them to go away. (He is not a fan of any of the character meet and greet stuff.)

I used Crate Paper's Open Road collection to create this layout. I really loved all of the retro road trip themed embellishments. They were just perfect for a vacation page!
